My employer does pay for my education and membership in IAIP. The Legacy Scholarship was a way to show them that I appreciate their support of my ongoing educational pursuits and professional development. I was working towards my AU designation In 2020 when I submitted the application and was pleased to be presented with a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to complete the AU 61 course. What an honor! The exam was completed in 2020 and I now have just one more course to take before receiving my designation.

The Legacy Foundation has been instrumental in helping me to achieve my designation and educational goals. While my employer pays for my IAIP membership, they do not support every designation that I have hoped to pursue in my career. This is where the Legacy Foundation has stepped in to help meet my objectives. Without the Legacy Foundation, I would not have been able to pay for the full designation program I am pursuing.

One of the many benefits of being a member of IAIP is being able to receive financial assistance from the Legacy Foundation. When my Certified Leadership Professional designation was up for renewal, I submitted an application for assistance with the cost of the classes needed for the bi-annual update. The generosity of donors and the hard work of the Legacy Foundation volunteer team members to raise funds is such a blessing for those who need a bit of assistance. I am very fortunate to be a part of the association and to have received their support for renewing my designation.
